"I've been on a mission my whole life in search of the big picture. My Mother's death when I was a teenager, was the beginning of this hunt for Light. The discoveries on my journeys in wild and remote places of nature, is how I found my inner peace and creative voice to share with the world. All healing journeys start within, that feed hope from God's eternal love. The Creative Spirt is inspired by nature. Let's unfold together, the Creator's many blessings of beauty to be found, discovered and captured, in all its Light.
I have not traveled this journey alone without the support of our special friends and my family. Especially my life-mission partner, lovely wife Morgan and my boys Mykel and Angelo, who have found their own unique creative voices and professions. I'm so proud of each of them. Thank you all for the supportive understanding in the passion and obsession I have with my love affair for the hunt of Light."
Light, an instrument for healing in its physical beauty and spiritual energy that is all around us. To be a hunter, is chasing faith for connection and reverence, under a spiritually guided meditation for the image captured through nature.
The name "Light Hunter" was given with honor to Fatali by the Navajos back in the early 80's when he first explored and helped discover slot canyons bordering Northern Arizona-Southern Utah. These sacred canyons, like the now famous Antelope Canyon, Navajo Nation Tribal Park, became his cathedrals of stone as a sanctuary for solace during his spiritual healing as a teenager. This slot canyon, before it's popularity, was only accessed by those who rappelled by ropes and who dared entering the unknown deep sandstone abyss. This was the beginning of his intimate relationship with the canyons, its people and the Light.

GOING FOR THE LIGHT is offered privately, as one-one-one mentorship for photo-film students of Light Hunter and with special invitations to our financial donors to the LIGHT RANCH MISSION. These adventures are customizable regarding their length of time, from a weekend to a month. Our sights will begin focusing on locations of extraordinary places of beauty throughout the Southwest and beyond. We pick you up and return you to a disclosed RESORT and SPA location in or near the area that we will be focusing on. The trip itineraries will be led by eye and based on the best predicted lighting conditions to witness and photograph the Light. Being flexible and fluid on these trips helps to capture unusual and rarely seen moments. On these adventures we will most likely be off the grid, hiking and doing a lot of photography together. Your experience level in photography is not what's important. It's more about the thirst for adventure, the hunt, and sharing with kindred spirits and the love affair with Nature. We provide the basic essentials for your camping and travel adventure experience. For FRIENDS FOR LIGHT donors to the Light Ranch Mission, we will set you up with accommodations in a stylish Light Hunter custom AIRSTREAM Basecamp! We will also loan a film camera to those who may need one. You just show up...and we will do the rest!
